14 October 2004: Yesterday, SHINE hosted a champagne reception at Bridgewater Hall, Manchester to celebrate the launch of SHINE Manchester.

Guests included representatives from the main supporters of SHINE Manchester (the Local Education Authority and Manchester City and United Football Clubs), SHINE projects, the participating Manchester schools, local businesses and the press.
