Sheffield primary school teacher Roy Clutterbuck wanted to make maths fun for children in his class.

He created Lampogo 3, a game of fun, fast-paced number puzzles, which is best described as a cross between sudoku and snap.

The idea for the game won Roy a Let Teachers SHINE award, which included funding and a package of support to help the idea grow, and help more children.

This video, filmed at Roy’s school, Byron Wood Academy, Sheffield, shows children playing Lampogo 3 during a special event.

As the video demonstrates, children love playing the game, and are keen to also play it at home.

With support from SHINE, Roy is aiming to trial Lampogo 3 at 24 primary schools across Sheffield.
