11 April 2008: We are delighted to announce that the 2008 SHINE Benefit Dinner will be held in the newly refurbished Roundhouse in London on Thursday 6th November.

Empty Roundhouse interior

The Roundhouse in Chalk Farm once hosted concerts by legends including the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix and the Doors. Following a ?30 million refurbishment this magnificent Victorian building has recently reopened to great acclaim.

We fully intend to make the most of its incredible space so take this opportunity to hold this date in your diaries.

The evening in brief

As in previous years, the evening will kick off with champagne, cocktails and canapés before guests enjoy a superb four course dinner. Then there’s the auction – live drama, unfolding right before your eyes – before the live music. SHINE events have played host to intimate concerts by Gabrielle, Mick Hucknall, Heather Small and Beverley Knight, not to mention rip-roaring sets from Sister Sledge and the legendary Kool and the Gang. This is your chance to strut your stuff on the dancefloor (or enjoy some relaxed conversation with your friends, colleagues and clients).
