Long regarded as one of London’s most iconic landmarks, Battersea Power Station has a history that includes the Beatles, Pink Floyd, Batman and Doctor Who. But despite its obvious appeal, for many years it was impossible to hold any event within the four walls of the building itself.

The Boiler House

With a large, clear space at one end, guests will be able to enjoy the usual mix of style, sophistication and atmosphere while surrounded by the spectacular architecture of Sir Giles Gilbert Scott.

As you can imagine, our production team is already hard at work planning how best to showcase this remarkable location, so SHINE’s 2010 Benefit Dinner promises to be yet another fantastic evening for all our guests.

To date, almost 23,000 children have benefited from this work. We therefore very much hope that you can join us at Battersea this November to help us continue supporting thousands more children in future years.

The evening begins with champagne, cocktails and canapés, followed by a superb dinner with fine wines. Once dinner has concluded, a brief video explains how SHINE is helping disadvantaged children in London and Manchester, after which guests can pledge money towards SHINE projects.

Guests are then treated to an intimate concert from a major singing talent, previous events have featured music from bands including Lulu, Kool and the Gang, Status Quo, Sister Sledge, Mick Hucknall and Gabrielle. Drinks will remain freely available from the open bars until the end of the event at 1am.
