SHINE has been shortlisted for The Charity Times Awards 2016! Our Let Teachers SHINE programme was chosen for the Corporate National Partnership Champion category, to recognise the work we do with teachers in England, in partnership with TES and Capita SIMS.
The Let Teachers SHINE partnership was created in 2012, to find the next big ideas to transform educational outcomes for underachieving students. As a relatively small charity, this partnership with two global commercial partners has afforded us the opportunity to strengthen and increase our resources, whilst massively expanding our reach into the educational arena. It’s supported us in the goal to help children acquire the skills and confidence they need, both at school and beyond to turn their aspirations into success.
Paul Carbury, SHINE’s Chief Executive, says: “We’re delighted to be shortlisted for the Charity Times Awards. It’s the inspirational Let Teachers SHINE winners, who go on to make a real difference to the lives of children across the country, who deserve recognition.”
The Charity Times Awards continue to be the pre-eminent celebration of best practice in the UK charity and not-for-profit sector. Now in their 17th year, the awards are run by Charity Times Magazine – the leading title for UK non-profit professionals. This year’s winners will be announced at the Charity Times Awards Gala Dinner & Ceremony on 28th September 2016, at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge in London.
